Dalu Krishnadas is a prominent Fashion Choreographer, Groomer and Show Director from Kozhikode, Kerala, whose work has contributed significantly to the evolution of contemporary fashion and runway culture in South India.
In 2025, AIMRI University awarded him a Doctorate in fashion, a rare distinction in the industry. For more than two decades, Dr. Dalu Krishnadas has been the creative force behind some of the most memorable runways in South India. Over 24 years in fashion and entertainment, he has conceptualized and directed more than 1,000 fashion shows across India and abroad, for leading brands, designers, corporates and premium retail chains.
He is widely regarded as one of South India's leading fashion choreographers. His work spans major beauty pageants, including the grooming and choreography of Mrs. Kerala 2024, and he has groomed thousands of models and pageant contestants who now make their mark in the industry.
Many familiar faces of Malayalam cinema have walked under his guidance. He has mentored actresses and models including Rima Kallingal, Amala Paul, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Durga Krishna, Noorin Shereef and Priya Prakash Varrier.
His foundation is as polished as his stagecraft. He trained in hospitality at the Taj and in fashion at IIFT Bangalore.
Audiences also know him from the screen, from television appearances such as Malayalee House to an acting credit in the Malayalam film Charminar (2018).
In 2021 he founded Dalu Fashion Factory in Kochi, now one of South India's leading modeling agencies. DFF has trained 5,000+ models and curated 500+ shows, and puts everyone on the ramp: children aged 4 to seniors of 80, tribal communities and specially-abled models. Its flagship kids' pageant, Super Model Junior, is now in its third season.
